Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Release Date
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 released August 25, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Switch 2 planned later. Verified facts, sources and current limits.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 released on August 25, 2026 for Windows PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 version is officially planned for fall 2026; media report September 29.
The launch date depends on platform
August 25, 2026 is confirmed for Windows PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S by store listings and launch communication. Switch 2 was not part of that release group: official material gives fall 2026, while media report September 29. A date answer must name the platform, otherwise it can make the later Switch 2 version look already released.
Unlock-time reporting is not the release-date headline
The public information contains a community-relayed 15:00 UTC global unlock time. It is useful context for a launch-day player, but it is medium-confidence and not the same as the confirmed platform release date. The safe headline remains the official date and platform; a precise unlock hour should be checked on the current store or official channel.
What is confirmed
The August 25 date is confirmed by Steam, official launch communication and platform listings.
A reported global unlock time of 15:00 UTC comes from community relaying official scheduling and is medium-confidence.
Switch 2 should not be described as already released in the August 26 snapshot.

Step-by-step
- 1
Check your platform against the August 25 release
The launch date is August 25, 2026 for Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you play on one of these, the game is already available. This is the primary answer before planning around regional timing or the later Switch 2 release.
- 2
Verify the Switch 2 window separately
The Switch 2 version is confirmed, but it was not part of the August 25 launch. Official material describes fall 2026; specialist media report September 29, 2026. Keep those two levels separate: official window is fall, media-supported day is September 29.
- 3
Confirm regional availability in the official store
Store release time can vary by region. The supplied official sources confirm the dates above, but they do not publish one global launch time. Use the store page for your country as the final check rather than assuming the same hour in every region.
Frequently asked questions
Is Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 already released?
